Our President and Executive Director, Kevin, was born and raised in South Dade. Kevin is an alumnus of Miami Arts Studio 6-12 @ Zelda Glazer ('20) and current Information Technology student at Florida International University ('23).
Before founding the Riders Alliance, Kevin was an advocate for better public transit in Miami-Dade County. Growing up in a transit desert, riding the bus or taking the train was never an option. Instead, his family had four cars at home. In early 2016, Kevin became involved in the public transit conversation after spending time downtown and learning more about public transit, its inefficiencies, and the broken promises that lead to the lack of public transit in his neighborhood.
Kevin was an original founder of the Miami Riders Alliance, and became the Executive Director after the passing of President and Founder Alejandra Agredo. Since November 2019, Kevin has lead the organization through its rough beginnings and through a global pandemic.
An IT Specialist at Neighbors 4 Neighbors since 2018, Kevin brings tech and design to the Miami Riders Alliance, and maintains the brand that was built before the organization was officially founded. Kevin is certified in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro, and is a Full-Stack Web Developer.
